Secondary butterflies
« on: May 09, 2017, 07:22:09 AM »
I am looking for a set of the secondary butterflies/screws to re-install on my 09.  Not sure if all year models will fit.  Anyone have a set lying around they don't use and want to get out of the way let me know.

Thanks!

I had to buy a set of used throttle bodies from  Ebay. That was the only way I could find any.

I was hoping to avoid that, can't afford to make this a nearly $700 upgrade.  I found them on Bike Bandit but am not sure about the screws, the diagram doesn't show them clearly enough so I can really be sure.  Make have to just pull the trigger on that.

I looked for mine a couple of years ago... I tossed 'em.

I paid $40 for the whole set shipping included.  I see more right  now for $41 to $47 with free shipping.  The secondaries and screws are all the same

I see that now, I only saw the more expensive ones last I looked.  Thanks for pointing that out!

I ordered a throttle body assembly from ebay this morning, looked clean and I should be able to get the butterflies out easily.  Daytona_Mike, I'm curious, what did you do with the rest of the assembly?
