If the auction guaranteed the bike to run you may have a case for return since it won't run without the fob.

What was the price quoted by your dealer for the parts needed to get the bike operational?

I got it cheap
so if I have a combination used from eBay for a fob and ECU
IT WILL WORK OUT
OR NOT
