« on: April 15, 2015, 10:01:21 PM »
I found this tonight where Erik Buell racing is closing.  To bad for the employees. http://m.jsonline.com/business/erik-buell-racing-closes-files-for-receivership-b99481936z1-299863281.html

Too bad. Tough market. If he had a 10-15k sport touring bike he might have made it.

I would never own a Buell, but I can appreciate the engineering and design that went into his bikes.

They were under $20,000 and headed for $15,000 this year. Too bad they didn't make it.
Hopefully Motus gets stronger and cheaper.

My friend is super lucky. He crashed his EBR last week and it's totaled. They will reimburse him and therefore he wont have to go lookin for parts. Great time to sell eh? Here's the video in case you're bored. He survived with just some scratches and a bruised elbow.

I thought all was well especially with the huge influx of money from the Indian based bike company. One of the big bike mags recently did a big write-up on how all was going splendidly and how research was going well and how new products were in the pipeline and how we were going to be impressed with what's coming and how Eric and the Indians were a match made in heaven and how they all worked so well and how they were funding him to the moon. Puppy dogs and rainbows I guess huh? Too bad, his stuff looked really nice.
