COG Northeast Spring Fling Rally 2013
« on: March 01, 2013, 08:05:01 PM »
Join COG in historic Bedford, Pennsylvania located in southwest Pennsylvania, between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, where you can enjoy great riding in Central PA, Western MD, and northern WV. We’ll be staying at a full service Travelodge with a restaurant and lounge on site. Bedford’s location makes it a great hub with good riding in every direction and we’ll have route sheets available. Bedford is a cute little town with nice shops and restaurants to visit, and provides easy access to gas & food.

We have a visit to the Flight 93 Memorial planned for Friday morning, May 17th at 10:00AM. The memorial is a beautiful 30-40 minute ride from rally headquarters in Bedford. There is no cost to visit the memorial and you’ll spend about an hour at the site. The Park service is asking for an estimated head count. If you think you’ll be attending please indicate that on the registration form where asked.

12 days from now...  118  registered.   Still time to register.  Don't miss out.  This will be a great event.  A ride/visit to the Flight 93 National Memorial Park is planned.  The rally host report there should be rooms still available, but space in the main banquet area is limited to 120. The venue will try to squeeze a few extras in, but if the count goes too high those over 120 will eat in the next room so that everyone can eat comfortably and all join in the main room for festivities and prizes.

Rally was fantastic. Great riding, interesting attractions to visit, and more important, great COG camaraderie. There were 125 attendees - pretty darn good for a regional event. This is what makes COG much more than just an online community.
