Welcome Tom! I live in Dripping Springs and ride the hill country quite a bit. Maybe we'll cross paths one day.

Dripping Springs.....Oak Creek Cafe....I love that spot.
We eat there every time we go to Austin!
I bet our paths will cross.

Thanks for the welcome

Have had many a breakfast at Oak Creek Cafe. The only problem is that it is too close to me. I typically want to ride a bit to get to breakfast on the weekends.

Every time I ride my Connie I am finding things that the previous owner put on her.
She has a Corbin trunk, handlebar risers and set backs, front slider blocks and rear cages. All very nicely done.
I had a key on the key ring that didn't fit anything on the bike.....Until I did some reading here....I found two helmet locks tucked up by the tail light.

I'm a big guy but this bike is very comfortable.

Also (and don't ask me how to do it) one of the requirements before total acceptance are the mandatory pictures.

Congrats on the new ride and welcome to the forum.

Recent statements regarding the loss of learning, knowledge and a venue in which to share that knowledge about this bike to the contrary, I believe you will find some useful information here both old as well as new. We even throw in the occasional joke, all at no extra charge.

The C-14 is a great bike and will eat miles with ease- ride the pants off of that thing.

No one can believe that I've finally gotten off of a American V-Twin, not my family, not my friends.
What am I going to do with all of those black t-shirts, eye patch, and shoulder mount stuffed parrot?
What about all of those Bar and Shield and War Bonnet tattoos?
Talk about aggravated arrested development?

So yeah, there is a long line of folks who will have to see a picture to believe this.
