One would think if the seller wanted a bigger market than one goofball province in Canada he would have written the ad for the majority of the North American continent instead of an audience of a few hundred holdouts from the 18th century.

There are two part number shocks, the KA-709 for the 08 & 09 models, and the KA-109 for the 2010 and on. Both are the same price

I have a 2008 so it wont fit. Darn.

I wonder what the difference is?

maybe it can be adapted easily. They are both mechanically the same
KA-709 = S46PR1C1S  vs KA-109 = S46PR1C1S
S = Single Tube Design
46mm = Piston Diameters
p = Monotube Piggy Back High Pressure Gas Resevoir
R1 = Adjustable  rebound  damping
C1 = Adjustable compression damping
S = Single Tube Design
If you still have fuel in the tank, you are not lost yet

Yes, I got it for $650 plus shipping. This was how he described it.

"The shock was purchased on January 18, 2012 at Accelerated Technologies for a price of $ 1,538.55. The damper is adjusted for a rider weighing about 250 lbs. It is in perfect conditions. No leaks and very clean."

Congrats! That's a hell of deal!  :thumbs: :chugbeer:

If you need to have it serviced or re-sprung for your weight I recommend you reach out to Dan Kyle, he's great and has tons of Ohlins springs in house.
