May 6 - 13, 2016 ( As little or as long as you wish)

WHY:
Ride the world famous Tail of the Dragon, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Devils Whip, Six Gap, GA, The Snake, The Rattler, Moonshine 28, Cherohala Parkway, The Diamondback, NC 276, NC 215 and many many more.

These are some of the best roads in the world for motorcycles. Scratch that - they are the best roads !!!

FEES:
NONE: You pay for your own lodging and food.

LODGING:
I’ve got discounted rooms at the Maggie Valley Creekside Lodge. See details in follow on post. There is a nearby motorcycle campground too, not to mention the Cherokee Harrods Casino.

MEMBERSHIP FEES:
None. Zip. Nada. Zero. Zilch.

BASE CAMP LOCATION:
In Scenic Maggie Valley, North Carolina - high in the mountains - just off the Scenic Blue a Ridge Parkway.

LOCAL HOT SPOT:
The famed Wheels Through Time motorcycle museum is located 100 yards down the street. Its a must see museum, founded by Dale Walksler, known for the TV Show, “What’s in the Barn and often seen on American Pickers. Its a MUST SEE.

GAMBLERS:
Besides risky bike riding? If you like to gamble, Cherokee has a huge casino about 16 miles, on an amazing twisting road.

GREAT ROADS:
The Blue Ridge Parkway is 5 miles away. 473 Miles of non stop gorgious roads. Its one of 6 National Scenic Parkways in the US.

Tail of the Dragon is 40 miles, and the road there isn’t to shabby either.

Take the Water Fall Tour.

DURATION:
Spend 3 days, or a week, but do join in riding with friends from this page to ride some of North Americas Best Roads. Plus talk trash.

WHAT TO DO NOW:
Click the ATTEND BUTTON on the bottom right of the cover image here. Bring your friends, partners, wife or kids. Just understand that these roads are challenging and not for beginners. I would not advise inviting people who do not have good riding skills - especially with this group.

If you have other bike friends, they are welcome too. Just be very clear about these roads. They are very technical, but gorgeous. I've seen too many accidents with guys being cocky and going off the mountainside. I very serious. I do not want to baby sit newbies. You will be given directions. It’s easy to get behind - that’s for sure. Plan on some long days. There are also some amazing waterfalls up there.

BOOK YOUR ROOM NOW !!!

Please note that this a synopsis of a ride hosted by Phil, not Sgt Mac.
