Does anyone do one for the GTR1000? I can only find 4-2. John

Once upon a time,,, I heard that they were available somewhere in the Eu.
None are offered in the US.

Some of us have built our own, but success rate on most of the homemade systems is debatable.

Don't bother John, A few people have modded the GPZ1000RX 4-2-1 systems to fit the GTR but they mess up the fuelling.
You end up with a peakier, rev happy motor with big dead zone around 3500rpm.

The best 4-2 system is the Motad Headers (Stainless!) and whatever silencers you like.
I have the Motad N-Eta silencers on mine but they are mild steel so they rust after a few years.
Still showing as available from WeMoto although Motad don't list them any more.

I'm aware that messing with the exhaust causes fuelling headaches George. I just had a thought for later. The bike is a ball ache to get in and out of the garage - feckin' heavy. And any weight saved is a boon. I saw a pair of rear pipes on fleabay but they looked a bit ropey.  Justa thought

Whoa, Whoa, wait just a gosh darn minute. I am the one who built the 4 into 1 system for the Connie, and it is not "peakie" and it has no flat spot at 3,500 rpm. And where did this "fuel headache" story come from. My bike runs like a sewing machine and gets 48 mpg on trips.

Ok, ok,,, we all know that Jim has been know to lie, and he cheat's (when he's riding with me).  He's an notorious Bench Racer too!

BUT,,,, I can vouch for what he sez about his exhaust system.  It works great...         
          "Jim has a Dyno Plot for his earlier attempts. "AND" the one he has now is better that the first tries....

   Boomer. please Define Fueling problems?

Replacing the two stock Connie mufflers with something like the Delkevics I used can reduce weight by 15 to 20 lbs.
