Painted my Windshield!
« on: March 25, 2014, 04:36:59 PM »
Hi,
Looking at different windshield options and really had to admit there was nothing wrong to me with the 2012 model except it was not tinted! Saw some older threads where guys had cut theirs down and then painted with the black out lens paint (which I had never heard of?) Thought I would give it a go and here's some pics!

  8)  Great look! Is it completely opaque now and can the paint be applied so it is more translucent?

Hi,
You can't see thru it! I just ordered a MRA Vario Windscreen and will probably sell this!

Yeah, I can see maybe painting a short screen, but I can't see doing that on a full sized screen.  It would block too much visibility of the road ahead!
