Hard to know if the craigslist is real or not unless you go shake the guy's hand.  Note the newer gold wingers for $10-12k with little miles too (http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j180/stevewfl/bigthumb.gif)

I don't see bags, antlers, or lower fairing...$1500 sounds plausible to me...I would still perform due diligence, though...

like I said guys I do not know the guy or bike or if he has extra parts, just thought I would put it out there, not speaking up for anyone... Or trying to make commotion...

The year could be a confusion facter. My 92 was originally listed as a 93 because the paint and red pinstrip is a 93 color scheme. He did correct the info prior to finalizing the deal but a easy mistake. Looks to me like who ever had is wanted a sport bike and it looks nice for what it is.
As said and with any used bike check it over and buyer be ware.
