Who's Attending the Nationals this year in Eureka Springs,AR?
« on: February 15, 2012, 08:26:28 AM »
June 11- 15, 2012

Since I live in NW Arkansas I would welcome the opportunity to lead a ride through the most scenic areas and interesting roads we have to offer.

Looking forward it!  I would like to spend at least one day riding around with someone who knows the area.  Look me up.  I plan to ride in on Saturday.

Will you attend all week?

The most appropriate thing would be for you to offer route planning services to the rally committee.  Then all rally attendees could benefit from your knowledge of the area.  I'm sure the rally committee would be glad to have the help of someone who is local to the area in planning out suggested ride routes.

For those of us that might not be at the national rally, but do come to Arkansas occasionally, we'd really like to know some of the best roads to ride when we're up that way. How about compiling a list?
'14 BMW 1200 GSw (red, what little there is that's not grey)
'11 Concours ABS (black) w/ Leo Vince carbon, heated Corbin, Garmin; TechSpec pads (gone but not forgotten)
'05 Yamaha FZ6, only crashed once, gone in trade; '87 Honda Gold Wing Aspencade, sold; '85 Honda Magna (700), sold; '76 Kawasaki KZ400, sold

I'd like to go, but I have a wedding to attend in AZ on the 9th. So if I did go it would be on the way back to Cincinnati, and would not have the bike with me, so I don't know if I want to attend naked.

Bosco,
They do have Harley's available for rent locally if you're so inclined.
Who knows what they might have on the used lot that they might rent.

2000 miles is a long way on the slower black bike.  I don't blame ya Jay......................

 ;D

I would love to meet up with you and do a ride though.

Agreed man, would love to hook up for some rides and some cold beers at night, but 2k is 3 days for me, that makes it a week and a half trip including the event itself, which is a big chunk of my yearly vaca to not include mama and the girls...  :(

You could put them on a plane. My wife may be flying in to join in the festivities.
