With the altitude up there in the Canyons the power output is quite a bit less as she usually lifts up the front all the time when I get on the throttle hard...  I guess the Full Muzzy along with the ZX14 throttle bodies and a few other goodies helps :)

Did a pass through there on the way back from Durango the weekend after Memorial day in '10.  Going the other direction, I drug a knee all the way through the left-hander (was a right for me) you guys tip into at 2:10... on my Superhawk with a tankbag and tailbag with a stuffed helmet bag strapped to it...

When I went through in '11 with my (now) wife on the back, the ride was considerably less spirited...  I miss having roads like that around.  I really, really need to get off this rock.

Excellent video! Thanks for sharing. Back in the 70's my parents lived in NM east of Zuni and I went to school at University of Arizona and used to drive the Salt River Canyon 5 or 6 times a year. If I had a fast bike back then I probably wouldn't be here now. As is it was, my 66 Olds 442 on worn out tires left a lot of rubber on that road.
