Greetings from the Great White North
« on: December 01, 2015, 10:22:03 AM »
Hello - I just took delivery of a 2012 Candy Arabian Red C14 ABS.
She has a stock top case, Cee Bailey windshield, Throttlemeister and 2 inch risers.  Just 10,000km (6200 miles) and ready for a set of tires.
I have not ridden a C14 as yet.  I am coming from a 2009 Road Glide, previous to that, an ST1300 and 1996 ZX11.
I tour and do look forward to spring in the worst way.
We have snow and will keep this snow until April approx.  Makes for a short riding season.

Welcome to the group Glider.
Great group of people.
Come ride with us.

While I'm thinking about it.
If you want to try it out, or lengthen your riding season.
Put your new toy on a trailer in the Spring (or even now) and come south.
We're still riding down here.

Ride safe, Ted

Yes, my friend has a K1600GT, so we attended the MOA Rally in Billings and then on to Beartooth, Yellowstone, and home
Then a trip through Lolo Pass Orfino and back home, then, I hope a once in a lifetime trip, never to be repeated, a mid September trip north of Edmonton to Peace River, Grande Cache and home on the Parkway.  The first part was done in the rain with 0C (32F) starts in the am.  The last couple of days were cool but very sunny and stunning snow capped Rockies, all is good.

This was on my 2009 Road Glide, with a little Gerbing for climate control.  The Road Glide will be up for sale in the spring, planning a ride with the Edmonton BMW group, annual ride to Cranbrook, Orofino, ID, Fernie and home on the May long.  The Gerbing will be transferred over to the Connie.
Then a trip approx June 25 to July 9, thinking Oregon, and Northern Cali.
