Highway pegs with Projektd Sliders
« on: May 11, 2011, 10:29:18 PM »
Added highway pegs to my Projektd Sliders by bending some 1 1/2 x 1/4 bar and some drilling. Now allows me to stretch out on long rides. Will eventually round off the corners and paint or powder coat a flat black.

Yes but they look pretty good after 500 miles in the saddle and you need another place to put your feet :)

Sometimes you just have to go for function and save the knees.  The C14 is hard to find a nice looking highway peg setup for.

I don't mean to hijack the thread but what seat is that?
My parts are forged with voodoo curses and unicorn tears.

That's exactly what I found. The other highway peg solutions do not stretch out enough for me. They will look better once I get them cleaned up and painted. But I also use them for long rides. They come off in about 2 minutes so most of the time they will not even be on the bike.

One of our members made a set that works with the SGS sliders which look pretty good, so I asked him to manufacture a set for me. I hope to have them in time for my 2500-mile cross-country trip next month.
