New models were released on Kawasaki’s website today. I just received the email. Looks like there will be a 2020 Concours14. There are no changes from the 2019... not even a color change!

What makes it a 2020? Wouldn't that be leftover 2019s? Oh I see what they did there. :doh:

All they did was edit the web page and replaced “2019” with “2020”, but... at least they are still making them. At least for one more year.

It does seem odd no color change. Does make you wonder if they really are making more or just dolling out what is left in stock in Japan. Guess we will never really know. They WILL be a 2020 based on VIN and warranty, though.... so, long live the Concours 14!

Interestingly, I thought the Concours was discontinued everywhere in 2018 except the USA and Canada. This was incorrect. One other market still has it- the "Latin American" market:

On the UK site, apparently the word "Tourer" means bolt on some side bags.
I don't care what you bolt on to an H2 SX, Z1000ZX or Ninja 650.
They are not Tourers or even Sports Tourers.
A triumph of marketing over content,... again.
No wonder the motorcycle market is dying.

Hope they have better colors, I saw a 2019 at the dealership and it looks terrible.
