A few years back, some friends & I rode to Valle Az for the war-birds fly in air-show. I was able to fly on a 1929 ford tri-motor. In the pre-flight talk the guy said they go to home-depot to get parts!

Believe it or not, this is aircraft related...

The T-1151 "Dog Doo" transmitter was used as a beacon.  It was used to transmit signals to either agents or recon aircraft.  It was quite 'life like'....

As a 58 year old with the mind of a 12 year old, I could not in good conscious, not pass this information along to the membership...   :rotflmao: :salute:

Quite!

Can you imagine the development stage this went through and the required check offs?  I'm  :rotflmao: as I contemplate what happened behind the scenes.  I wonder if they added a fake smell to it?

The longer they wait, the more costly it will be to restore it....

Interesting B-1B landing at Edwards...captions needed, please.

Crash Landings 3: Lakebed B-1B

"I thought you put the front landing gear down!"
The ever popular "This is going to leave a mark."
"A bit of paint and polish and she'll be as good as new."
"Please, dear God, let us stop before the grinding hits the cockpit."
"No crew were injured in the making of this film."
