I frequent both sites, I was a member of the original forum one month after it started.  Sorry it crashed with all the good info on it.

I have been a COG member since 2000 and will continue my membership until I am too old to ride. 

There are great people on both sites and it is sad to see some people think it is an "us against them" situation.

I have always found this forum to be much more active. I have always wondered why.

It's the attitude... minimum rules, no dues, and reasonable moderation make for an enjoyable experience...

I think that happens a lot, you have various forums for the same bike, car or what ever and 1 will get a lot more action than  all the rest. I frequent several Gold Wing sites and GL1800 riders is very active, several others can go for days without a new post,

It's pretty simple.  This forum has been running for wht/  10 years?  Of course there are more members and more info ( the knowledge base will be rebuilt).  The COG site was never intended to be the main forum site.  I can live with both sites because each one serves a different function for me.

I use to be on the ZG site all the time at work, and now the new domain is blocked at work, so unfortuantly I have ONLY the cog site at work, it SUCKS.  There is usually not that much going on there and I miss all you
