Who rode on New Years Day?
« on: January 01, 2015, 02:04:59 PM »
Only 25 miles but the roads are clear and it was above twenty F so took it for a run.
It's rare to be able to ride on New Years in Wisconsin.

The XS650 got ridden also after I found the cord for the electric vest and chaps.
But heated grips, gloves or some serious mittens are needed at these temps. Fingertips are still a bit sore.

I've been wanting to stud the KTM and take it up north, haven't had a chance too.  Last year I did the desert (Death Valley, Sonora, and Moab, Utah)  with it.  Was quite an adventure indeed:

It's still a bucket list item to do your "up north" winter type riding with it, although friends taunt me all the $#@%ing time about it i haven;'t been able to make it and this isn;t my pic but I'll be up soon!

Steve,

Several of the shops I call on support and take part in an ice racing series near Woodland Park, CO...in the shadow of Pikes Peak...I hear it's good racing!

I rode about 10 miles on a test ride of the new to me 09.  Now waiting for his credit union to produce the title. Hope to get everything finished before the bad weather gets here.  Don't look good next week.

That sucks for  you Brad.

I had to watch the Ducks spank Florida yesterday while drinking my favorite beverage.  :chugbeer:

But it is 29 degrees and beautiful here today. I'm going for a ride.  :finger_fing11:

I did a test ride on Jan 02, but it was in Tucson, AZ so I don't think this is such a great accomplishment... At least it was for me, got the 2011 C14 back after losing the 2009 because of a &$%^#$@$ drunk driver. Happy New Year !

I rode on the first.  A little cold, but nothing the gerbing gear couldn't handle.

About 80 miles to the west of Portland (Oregon), solo, just enjoying the day.
