Anyone ever stay there? Looks like a nice place. People are sure nice on the phone.

I've been camping there for years, IMO it's by far the best of the Motorcycle Campgrounds. It's located at higher elevation than most so it tends to have lower temps. Great roads in the area, good food is available in Waynesville or the Mount Pisgah Inn on the parkway. There is always a great group of riders at the central campfire each night. It's a very peaceful, relaxing, enjoyable place.

That's the place where I loaded 30lbs of firewood onto the rear fender of my Sportster!

I have heard folks say Harley's pull like a truck.

I've stayed a few times. All good.

One time there, my Yuasa battery developed Sudden Death Syndrome at the campground. The owner had some jumpers to help diagnose. Way helpful. Clean showers. No cages past "the bridge". Nice mellow atmosphere.
