I haven't seen those before. Great price if they are good quality. Be sure and post up a review if you decide to get them.

This one is completely waterproof.  Install and forget.  The other uses a waterproof sleeve for the DVR (WEAK)

I'm not thinking farkle, but safety device.  There was recently another hit and run on a bike in the area; has me anxious to protect myself

I can see both as a safety device but I assume most would also like it to record and save video's from trips to show folks.
To do that I think it would be best with sound?
Neither of these seem to have a microphone/sound pickup?
