100,000 foot ride
« on: August 05, 2013, 04:13:10 PM »
Did the 100,000 foot ride this weekend and I'm sad  :-\ disappointed I didn't see another Connie to keep me company. 11 Mountain Passes 446 miles in 8 hours makes for a PERFECT CONNIE riding day.

Headed that way in two weeks. Sounds like I have some passes to check out.
Got any road numbers to go with those passes or can I find them pretty easy on google?

I didn't have time to spool on my PR3's.  They also shutdown the online registration, which left me to just showing up and hoping for an open slot.  I've ridden this 3 or 4 times in the past... and it's always filled up... so I wasn't going to ride down and be SOL.  8)

Glad you had a great time... a guy I work with (Blackbird rider and his Blackbird riding buddy) also rode it for the first time.  They both really enjoyed it too.  :)

Off for 5 weeks starting August 26th. Planned heading through Colorado on my way to California. Can't pull up link, will try again later. Have several routes I'm looking at right now, some may already be on my to do list. Thanks for the info.

Hey Skeet I'm coming from Ontario through Michigan, maybe we'll see each other. Safe ridin.
