No ABS!..that would be a deal breaker right there. There is no such thing as 'getting used to ABS' Just treat ABS as if it was never there and it will do its job (save your life)
 I would not buy either bike.  In the hopes that I do not (or have not already )offend you would you explain what you mean by 'Trail Break' and 'Back-in occasionally'and 'hair-lip' please?
I am NOT part of the 'entertainment committee'. Thanks
From what I understand the ABS on a 2010 is not too good?
Everything is moot because I bought a 2011.

'Trail Break' and 'Back-in occasionally'and 'hair-lip'?

It's actually trail brake (I spelled the wrong kind of brake);
A riding technique where the brakes are used beyond the entrance to a turn, and then gradually released up to, or before, the apex of the turn.
back it in; controlled slide all the way to the apex of the corner, the goal is to have close to the right amount of skidding provided automatically so that the rider need only fine-tune the action, the tire is not locked up...
With abs you can not do either of these things correctly.

Hair Lip/lipped; someone or something is a southern expression meaning that someone is going to do what they set out to do, regardless of the consequences, or the disapproval of others. The term "Hair lip the Pope" was popular.
