Stripped front left pinch bolt
« on: February 04, 2020, 02:57:30 PM »
Replaced new front tire and
Tried to loosen front left pinch bolts To rock and set the forks
And stripped one of the left bolts
And cannot remove it... can I ignore the manual and Freds vid
And ride without rocking and setting the forks?
Anyone have a place I can buy oem pinch bolt and caliper bolts
Not from China?

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I never loosen the left side. I finger snug the right side and then bounce it up and down and then torque them to spec.

......as for the replacement, Partzilla? : https://www.partzilla.com/product/kawasaki/92153-0006?ref=0f32e4ed3e250edb15d1f088dc73a856cb95cd64

I always have to go back and forth between the pinch bolts to get them to both click without turning.
Hopefully I'm preaching to the choir. 8)
