Title: Visiting Orlando FL, any good shops/stores I should check out?
Post by: redbarber on October 09, 2011, 10:16:46 PM
I'm working in the Orlando and Tampa areas this week.  I'm in my company car, not on the bike, but I'd like to check out any good Kawasaki shops, or general riding gear shops (no Harley-type stores please).  Also Friday, I'll be heading back up to Atlanta, so anything Ocala, Gainesville, etc.  May even be going over to Daytona Beach one day this week.  Any of you Florida guys have some suggestions?

^^^^that.  Barney's Tampa is just another stealership though.  Also, hang out and stay for Biketoberfest in Daytona!

Dinner at House of Blue's in Orlando is tops, too!

I don't know if they still do it, but Old Town in Kissimmee on 192 has bike nights on Thursday.

Thanks for the tips.  Ended up working so much that I had very little time for exploring.  I did make it to Cycle Gear, got a great deal on some water resistant winter riding overpants from Frank Thomas.  $169 marked down to $29.  And they were my size too, which is totally unusual to find.
