I've done both but I don't remember anything about an Ent hat.

This is an Ent and, as the story goes, he is considered very wise. So instead of a thinking cap, you have an Ent Hat.

They're also very slow and methodical in their thinking.  Takes years to make a decision which is what I was getting at about locking the thread.
