Title: Side stand question

Hey all,
My 2002 C-10 has been lower 1.5 inches. I have been kicking around the idea of heating and bending the side stand. Any experience out there with this project. The bike is just too straight up when parked. I have to choose my parking spots carefully.

I think the side stand is a cast piece.  If so, you won't be bending it.

It could be cut and welded.

I have heard of people bending it but I had to cut and reweld mine.  I had to use a torch to cut it as it laughed at my sawzall.
