Has anyone ever converted their headlight (9003) bulb to a newer LED style bulb?

$47.99 for a pair.

PS. Sorry about my tardiness, good luck. I just put one in the low beam housing on my new Versys.

I just use the sylvania silver star bulbs from walmart. my riding buddy said that my headlight was very bright.

Havent seen the back of a C10 headlight but I reckon from your description the ones I used on the C14 would get around this as the heat sink is removable for getting the clips on

MAN OF BLUES:
Recent posting on our other forum had good revues on this

And I can say I may try them out on my bikes when I need my next bulb...

Its a standard base, and uses less power, a win win...

Even the LEDs that do not have detachable housings will fit.

It takes a little dexterity, but they will go on.
You have to thread the wire in AS the LED is going in to the socket.  (easy now...)

The rubber boot might be a different story.  I trimmed mine back a bit.  Now they fit.

YMMV of course.
