C14 Police bike - minus 400cc, 250lbs, plus Nitrous
« on: August 07, 2011, 08:40:56 AM »
Ashland next town over had a motorcycle stunt show raising funds for a charity. I didn't know the local police had something other than HD's on the road. Apparently is official and recognized by the department.

I better go slow through town from now on (something I always do anyway)

they saved weight by deleting the side stand, and added power with Nitrous!  Besides adding police graphics adds 100 BHP to an engine (everyone knows that  ::) ) I bet that bike's a beast!

I did some looking around to find some history on this bike. It isn't an "official" police vehicle, too bad, I think the Police would gain a lot of compassion if they could ride something like that! ;D

(It's not a town vehicle, not paid for by public funds and not used for patrol. it's owned by an officer, authorized by the chief, and used only for special events (parades, car/bike shows, etc).)

Doesn't look like a C14 to me.  What kind of bike is it really?

Our local police force has this.  It is an official police bike.  There was a story on the local news a couple years ago questioning spending the money to purchase this bike, etc.
