I will look for mine when I get home this afternoon. I should be able to find them but I did strip one of the screws.

That's great.  No issues with the screws, I'm sure that will be easy to sort.

Thank you.

HERE.... GRAB THEM FAST....

Lamentably, can't do. It's $80 shipping and will probably be another 30-50 once customs get hold of it.

Is the shipping as expensive at your end?  If not, could I pay you to buy them, then you just send me the valves and screws?

Hey, I just realized I have a set of secondaries in my blown 09 motor. If I recall correctly I need a special phillips screwdriver to avoid stripping the screw heads. Last time I did this was ten years ago. Can someone remind me or is there a thread?

OK I found Brian's thread: JIS #2, now to find the tool in my cluttered shop!

yes, make sure to use the correct screw driver, also use a soldering iron, prior to each screws removal, insert it into the cross slot of the screw, and apply generous heat to the screw, then immediately insert the screwdriver, and remove.. or even pre heat the screw driver tip with a propane torch, and insert it to the slot, and apply heat that way... it softens the locking agent on the screws, and helps greatly for removing them...

Sorry Pillow, I used to buy and ship stuff, but I got out of that years ago.. I would have picked them up, and removed the flies, and just sent those... but I can't do that any more, as I got stiffed too many times. Again, sorry, but my out of pocket time and money is limited.
A while back I found a place in the U.K. that manufactured Oberon aftermarket machined aluminum billet clutch slave cylinders, and they actually sold / listed replacement secondary butterfly plates.. but I can't find the link any more...
The prices on flies if you could find them, is pretty high....

that's just for reference, and likely won't fit the Concours, niether will the ZX1400 plates, as those bodies have a larger bore.. sorry.

Best of luck Pillow.
I think you/Lather have a good plan.

Have question's though; I know there is a ZG-1400 club on your side of the Pond.
I think the guy that leads it is in Belgium. Goes by the name of "Magic".
I rode with them when we made our trip "Over the Pond", and can contact someone if you want to possibly ride with them?

Are you aware of the club?
Also, where are you located?

Ride safe, Ted

I'm in Surrey, England.  Just south of London.  I've been on the forum a few times, but not as a regular.

Not much of a group rider I'm afraid.  Been on a few ride outs- enjoyed it, but not my cup of tea.

Do you know what it will cost?  I don't know much about this sort of thing, so if it's a convenient way of sending for you, let's do it that way.

Ok, I understand.
Just remembered, you may know Boomer?
Also from the UK.

The main reason I mentioned them I;s they would know where to get ZG-1400 parts as it is a ZG-1400 only group.
