There was a member of this forum that offered rebuild service, but can't remember this name.

From what I've read in the past on this subject, you can try to re-flow the solder joints yourself, if you have an iron, a steady hand, and good eyes.

Im gonna do my own.  Doesnt look that tough and you can get a very good soldering iron at Lowes...they have a small Weller iron that works wonderfully.

Check out page two of this section where I asked about dis-assembly...pretty simple.
Say what?

I've done several. You need a product called Solder Wick which you lay across the old joint and heat it with an iron. The old solder melts and flows up into the wick...done. Desolder all the joints on the old relay, pull the old relay off the board and plug the new relay into the holes. Resolder the new relay in place and you're done.

Guy B. Young of the COG forum used to sell these relays. YOu could also Google the part number and find them on the web for 2-3 bucks each. If you're not sure of your skills just send your box to Larry Buck.

It's very easy to do yourself if you have basic soldering skills.      Not sure where you are located but if you are in NJ I can show you how

I suck at soldering and I know it. Sent it to Larry Buck for new relays and had it back in 7 days!!
