2" bar risers
« on: May 14, 2011, 08:01:31 PM »
New guy here, and non technical to boot. Would I have to change any of the cabling to install 2" bar risers on my '97? Thanks

Usually not but expect to do some minor rerouting of cables and/or cutting of tight zip ties.

Yep... cut the cable ties, and make sure you move the choke cable OUTSIDE of the cable guide that's attached to the frame.

Might even have to slightly loosen the brake or clutch fitting as ever so slightly change their position and then re-tighten them.
