Day 9 - 220 miles. Best day yet for scenery. Carrie can't believe how it gets more and more beautiful everyday. We went from Cut Bank up to Babb and did the 12 mile road to Many Glaciers then back to St. Mary to do the epic Going to the Sun Rd through Glacier. Found a home in Whitefish to unload the bike then a quick trip to Kalispell to see the town. Lots of pictures today.

We'll start with the goat. I could of reached over and pet this guy as he went by me.

Glacier is so awesome we are going to stay another day. We're gonna go back over Logan Pass the opposite way then run the South side of Glacier on Highway 2 back into Whitefish. Stay tuned for pics.

Looks like another great day in the PNW.

If you have the time stop at avalanche creek ( its on the lake McDonald side ) not a bad little walk but the water running through  and carving the rocks is very cool. Also look for the big horn sheep and more mountain goats at Logan's pass.

Day 10 - 210 miles. Jay, I bet I've rode more in the last ten days then you ride all year. :)

Stubby, I went through Avalanche creek area, but after slerickson thread on the Bear Attack I was not about to leave the bike. Cause we was packin samwiches each day.

Not really liking this Photobucket app. After I crop and enhance pictures on my phone it uploads the original. I will have to fix pics when I get home.

Next stop Sandpoint, ID.

Was going through Carrie's 317 photos of Glacier and it seems she is a better photographer than me, even sitting on the back of a high speed black Connie.

Ya hate to say it but she is better at taking photos just saying....... I have been over that road twice in cars next year is the time for the bike. Thanks for reminding me of why I really like that place.
If your going to Sandpoint you should have to come through Bonner's Ferry nice little town and while your still in Montana going along the river you will see signs for some falls ( can't remember the name right now ) but its a nice little walk and there is a swinging bridge if I remember right? Good times in that part of the country.

Safe travels

Dave

Hi Dad, Welcome to the forum. You're going to have to talk to that boy about using 'high speed' and 'black' in the same sentence.  ;)

Good morning Chaz, I hope you are following along with us. Maybe next year you will get a bike and be able to take a road trip with us.

Wildlife across the street from our hotel as we were leaving Whitefish.

We are stopped at McGregor Lake lodge for breakfast and there is a moose wandering around across the street. There is a calf out there but it laid down. Carrie is so excited to finally see a moose.
