2nd video added also: New video to share
« on: December 06, 2011, 09:46:15 PM »
This was filmed with a GoPro on the Concours (you can see my headlight in the shot) and a Contour GPS on a FZ6 with the rider 2 up.  on the ride we had 09 concours, 07 GSXR750, 06 Sprint ST and a 2008 FZ6.  Hope you like it.

I used the suction cup mount in the GoPro motorsports pack.  It was stuck to the right side fairing and stayed very well.  I did tie a string to it and my mirror just in case.  I did the editing with iMovie on my Mac book.  Only drawback is it edits in 720P max so I am looking for software that will edited 1080P.

Glad you guys liked it.  I will past another one

here is another one later in the day farther north.  It is suctioned cupped to my left rear saddlebag.  The bike behind me is a GSXR 750.  It really is amazing what a Concours will do!

Somewhere in the south east

Yes those are sparks!  Safe to say I dont have to worry about taking off the peg feelers any more.  The tires definitely have more lean angle left in them but I wonder how far it will go until I start hitting the bags.....lol

The lower fairing will scrub pavement before the bags do.

Keeping the economy going, one tank of fuel and two tires at a time.

video is farther north of Franklin.  Pictures are from different parts of the ride.  North of Highlands on 28 is nice but usually pretty backed up with traffic

LOL< That is awesome and very good to know.  Did you remove the peg feelers/grind them off to get to the point you were grinding the fairing?

My pegs were steadily removed through trips to Arkansas where banked corners just invited me to keep leaning.  So yes there is no peg feeler and the outside of the pegs are becoming thin enough that I might need to replace them sometime this coming season.
