Replacing damaged parts
« on: June 11, 2011, 04:55:42 PM »
My friend Steve has no luck with bikes.   :)  A couple of weeks ago, a storm, unprovoked by Steve, savagely threw his poor helpless bike to the ground on it's right side.  He got his parts yesterday and I went out and helped him take it apart so we could then put it together.

Here are most of the parts that were removed.

...in order to get to the cast alum. mirror stay.

Pretty huh...

How we tightened up his instument panel, one c-clip between the three instrument mounts.  Between the rubber and outer washer.  Worked well.

Pretty much finished save the right side bag lid.  Chicks dig his clavicle surgery scar.  :P
