Need help with Mcruise install
« on: March 18, 2018, 01:06:22 PM »
I got the cables in the CIU square thing. The problem is that the the original throttle cable (has no threading) - the cable has so so much slack, that it looks like it is enough to wrap another 3/4 around the spool. I don't think the adjuster at the handle bar can take it out. Is this normal? Do  I need to source some sort of bushing to use as a spacer on the outside between the cable and the CIU?

Well if it's similar to what I did or didn't do....that pull cable wraps almost all the way around the spool and then drops in at the proper hole.  I sent McCruise a pic and in no time they replied to wrap that cable and that took up the slack.  You will still adjust some at the throttle ONLY on the pull cable.  HTH
