British Knife Ban - SERIOUSLY!
« on: December 28, 2012, 10:03:34 AM »
Read this - seems just like the AWB idea here. They want to ban "long, pointy knives". Short pointy knives seem to be OK. 24% of their 16 YO kids carry knives, and violent crime is on the rise... http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/4581871.stm  This is America in years to come - Steve

A charity shop over here recently refused to sell donated knitting  needles.. In case the buyer stabbed themselves with their purchase  ::)

If they ban long pointy knives it will be interesting cutting a loaf of bread with a 3" butter knife  ;D

They should ban rocks. Why would anyone need a rock anyway? While they are at it they should also ban sticks. No one really needs sticks either.

They should ban rocks.

Especially assault rocks in large clips, you know, like when there's lots of them laying around all together in a bunch.  Need to limit the number of rocks in a given area.

And Dumplings... my sister in law supplied the dumplings at lunch the other day.... they could have been mistaken for rocks   ::)

Or at least ban then from shows where background checks are given on the spot

Today's American news suggests "Ban Razors!"

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police suspect that a casino worker killed a 10-year-girl before going to a Las Vegas resort and allegedly slashing the face of a co-worker with razor blades.

If the British do this they can create the Ministry of Sharp Pointy Objects. This would go hand in hand with the Ministry of Silly Walks.

It's nice to see there are people more ignorant than Americans......and it appears to be the British.
