What do you think?  Will they flourish?  Or, will they get squashed?

Skype for your smartphone, Skype is free, last I checked. Don't think Skype has a smartphone app though.

Fail.

Just thought I'd take a look.  They do.  As long as your smartphone is Android or Blackberry.

I'd consider getting a Skype account, but I have so many minutes on my plan that I don't use anyway...  And enough rollover minutes that I could basically spend the whole month talking and still have minutes left...  My kids only seem to use up minutes when I call them.  Otherwise it's all text.

I'm in the cell phone business and they won't flourish, but they won't get squished either. They will work for a few, but not many. I'm worried about lag and delays, I'm not sure we're ready for VoIP on a phone just yet. VoLTE should be ready closer to 2013-2014 but for now I'm not sure WiFi is a good way to go for a cell phone. I guess we'll see.
