My first paint job in 25 years. I'm gonna do it over next week but any thing is better than easter egg green.

Nice improvement over the green!  Did you paint the lift handle and passenger grab rails a different color?

Thanks. For the grab handles I used VHT Burnt Copper and for the rest I used Eastwood Rat Rod Black. I had the wheels Powdercoated and used black epoxy for the forks and the final drive.

Thanks. I've got a couple of runs in it so I'm going to sand it down next weekend and do it over. I'll put up better pics this weekend.

Nicely done.  Its fun to change up how the ol girls look. Here is a pic of my 02 and 86.
I cant take credit for the Burnt Candy Orange 86'er in the back ground.  Its pretty much a one-ofa kind designed and painted by Jim Miller. The 02 is done up with purple/blue color shift paint.  I have to re-shoot my tank as it has some 'hidden' imperfections.
Once again very nice job...

Thanks. I like the windshield on your 86. That's my next project, try to find or make a windshield that I like. I stopped on the way home and took a better picture.

Yup... looking real nice.  I do like the bronze/copper w/blk.  Its adds contrast.
Of course its winter here in Iowa so everything looks twice as nice when they are photographed sitting next to the ocean  8)  8)  :rotflmao:  :stirpot:
