Hello from Oklahoma
« on: August 11, 2016, 05:20:41 PM »
Hi, all! I bought a 2012 C14 back in February and have been lurking since then. I thought I'd finally join up and start asking some questions.

Welcome! I did my basic training in Ft Sill. I'll never ever forget two things about OK. The wildest thunderstorm I've ever seen and the wildest thing I've ever seen a stripper do in downtown Lawton

Thanks for all the welcoming replies!

Welcome! What part of OK do you live?

I'm in the OKC area.

I wouldn't know about the strippers down that way, but the weather can be something else! A buddy and I went down  to ride Mt. Scott yesterday and we had a blast!

What chicken strips? I'd love to meet up with some other Connie riders!

Oh yeah? I used to live in OKC too. Off of Northwest Expressway. It sure was a boring place back then. I suppose you don't have to go too far to hit some twisty stuff though.

Other than the lakes around OKC, there's not much fun riding within an hour. We seem to make do with what little we have.  :'(
