Title: COG members, paying members in good status...
Post by: MAN OF BLUES on November 12, 2018, 09:59:35 PM
CURRENT COG MEMBER NOTICE...

just a heads up...
go to the COG site, and look at the COG business area, voting and input is needed prior to 11/30/2018...

I'm not asking anyone that is not a COG member for input, nor do I want input here...about the subject.
just informing my fellow friends and members to "get busy, and read it".

thanks, over and out. :censored: :censored:

Just curious but..... are there really any 'paying members in bad status'?

No, wait, do not answer that.....    :rotflmao:

Well, honestly I doubt that- I am of no importance or fame ('spear carrier, third from the left, recognized only by his mother').

Besides that, I am not a member of COG so my status there should be <blank>. Though it might take a while to work up that high :-)  I do go to the local COG tech. day and work on COGger's bikes though, and I am kinda' 'the C-14 guy' there. But that is only 'near and local', nowhere near far and wide.

Ever since Animal House movie came out I've been worried that I've been on double secret probation my whole life.

you have...  :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :grouphug:

I've been there also, a few times...

I had a "boss" that pulled that trump card on me once, and when I found out I walked into H.R., and tended my resignation... and left... 2 weeks later after completing a $2,000,000. contract ahead of schedule..., 2 weeks later that stupid kid "boss" quit, because I did all the work....
16 months later, fed up with the job I took, as I was lied to severely about bonus', raises, and I busted my azz working non stop 70 hour weeks filling the Director's/Stock Holders pockets, I called my old job up, talked to the Pres., and they hired my back with a 20% increase in salary... and... gave me a Christmas Bonus check a week later, that was 5x more than the "bonus" I was supposed to get the day I quit that job... which was the frosting on the cake for me telling them "Elvis Has Left The Building"....

Unfortunately, I have observed that MOST businesses don't value their key people until they leave.  And then it is too late for both.  This is why the modern "successful" employee is essentially forced to job hop (leaving one employer for another, then another).  And that is a HUGE shame, because it is often the long-term (yet good) employees who are the most valuable to the company.  They know the most, they are the most loyal, they are sometimes the people who get most of the actual work done.  Turnover can sometimes be a good thing, but it is also terribly expensive, in many ways.
