I'll start this off by saying I would be interested assuming we get 20 people to buy...

I don't get it... There are other options out there, for less money, with longer warranty periods (and better looking, IMO). Are these "better" than those alternatives for some reason?

If there are better options I would be interested in recommendations.  I had a set of the 35w Moto Lights on my previous work bike and they are great lights with a lifetime bulb replacement.   Customer service is outstanding.   It is a lot of money but most quality kits will be expensive.

I was just comparing apples to apples... the Motolights LED vs the Denali LED http://www.zggtr.org/index.php?topic=5117.0... The 35W option eliminates the Denali units I was looking at. LED option changes Motolights lamp warranty to 3 year.

And, the Motolights have more options for finishes.

Not trying to muck up a group buy, just wondering if I'm missing something... especially at these prices.

I don't want to 'clutter' up this thread with alternative aux. lighting products.  Makes it confusing, at least to me.  If you are interested in alternatives, start another thread, please or keep it close to topic.

I'm legitimately interested in the selling points of these units, which is why I posed my original query here. Any mass discussions on the other product I mentioned is in numerous other threads.

So any FHE with the Motolights units that justify the cost would be of interest to me.

Here are some more photos of the lights on my bike.  I moved the lights from another bike to the C14 and upgraded to the LED lamps when I purchased the radial caliper mounting kit.  Motolight makes real nice hardware.   I like the sleek look of the lamps and mounting is pretty clean.  Their wire harness ext... is all nicely done.  The group buy would be going through my business as a dealer.  I paid retail for my lights, and do not regret the purchase.

Okay here are night comparison photos.  The camera does not capture the true depth of the lighting but it is apples to apples.  The Motolights are the High Output LED units which have a 25 deg beam spread vs. 10 deg for the standard LED's
