Arizona fires
« on: June 07, 2011, 03:22:28 PM »
The wild fires in Arizona are at this point  UNBELIEVABLE . Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all.
The smoke here in Albuquerque has been so thick ( worse in the evenings) visibility down to 1/2 mile at times.
The fire heading this way itself, we are in an exceptional drought now also. We rode AZ191 last year from Albuquerque to Eagar to Guthrie to Deming and back home ( enough turns on 191 to get you sea sick)...beautiful ride sad to see the devastation.
Counting on the Monsoons for a little help here .

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know "why" I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.
