Scooters are a firm favourite in the developing world – but they are noisy and polluting, and can be dangerously overloaded. One company has come up with a cleaner, safer option.

anyone who's been to places like Taipei or Bangalore knows this is a pretty good idea. The problem as I see it is price. They are talking $5k. Even if they can actually bring it to market for that price it is still too expensive IMO. Many of the scooters on the streets of Taipei are a fourth of that.
