C10 PIC THREAD - Show us your Connie!!
« on: May 27, 2011, 04:32:13 PM »
Hey guys, I'm a C14 guy but I saw a really clean 06 C10 the other day up at my local shop, he was dropping it off to get some work done. I spoke with the guy for a bit, cool guy, he bought it new about 3 years ago...  8)

I looked for a place to post a pic of it in this C10 section but I couldn't find any threads already started that were dedicated to pics of C10's...

So here you go!  :grouphug:

Maybe George can make this a sticky in this section to be built upon...

"Hey Baby" , must be said in a low tone, like it is 2 AM and last call, for a couple of things.
Ride safe all.

Here's my 06 that escaped and made it OTP in 2007  ;D

The group shot shows mine with the wife (in pink) at the 2010 GCE rally in Wales. Can you spot Russell Fleming in the background, our 2010 OTP winner?

Paul OTP (near Windsor, GB).

Here's my '95.  It's a little rough, but thanks to SiSF, it runs like a striped ape.  I'm thinking torque cams/power cams for it this winter.  The trunk needs a little touch up, but it works GREAT!  It was a lot of fun to make.  The bags were repainted by me.  Spray on Rustoleum bedliner from WalMart works great.  Krylon Gloss Black on the inside half.

On a note, anyone have an idea how to hide the bottom edge of the top fairing?  The right side would be no problem, but the PO broke all the tabs off the top left side.

Edge trim from your local auto parts store?

GB, won't work.  There are two screws about mid way down the fairing on each side.  I believe they are for the fairing mount.  What I may do is get 4 1/2" longer bolts, then get some 1" wide thin flat steel stock and drill holes where the bolts would come out, then use acorn nuts to hold them on.  It won't be perfect, but better than what I have now.  I'm thinking about redoing the bike in all bed-liner anyway.  If I do that this winter, then it wouldn't have to look perfect, just good enough.

The shearing shed was built for the 1954 Korean war wool boom, but then white ant's got into it a couple of years ago and it fell down.

The bike color is:
