Another new one from DFW
« on: April 24, 2018, 11:49:17 PM »
Traded the Harley Electra Glide for a leftover '17 Concours today. What an awesome machine!
I used this site for a lot of research-so thanks!
I'll try for a pic. The top case is on order (along with a few other goodies!)

Congrats!  I like that blue.  Lots of help and ideas here.  If you’re used to the power of an Electra Glide, ease yourself into the speed of this bike.  It’s a rocket and you can get over your head in seconds.  Most of all, have fun!

Thank you, folks!
I've noticed a problem with this bike-every time I look at the speedometer, I'm speeding. (and I ride like an 'ol man)
It's so quiet and smooth!

Yeah, mine has the same problem! I sure hope they don’t order a recall on them. I really like having this problem!

Same here -- I used to say I was a slow, cautious rider.  Well, I'm still cautious, but not so slow. :)

My Rostra cruise control has saved me from a lot more speeding tickets than my radar detector ever has...probably by a factor of 10 or higher.

I remember going through the gears and winding up fourth gear, looked down and saw that I was at 106.  But since the Kawa speedo reads 3 mph faster, I was only going 103...
