Whew...Well we have most of the parts now, two machined spacers, three bearings, two stainless steel shims and a new Zinc 10.9 washer bolt ..I've been doing some really long hours guys and have no photos but wanted to let you know its pretty much done. I'll have some brand new shifters fitted with the whole set up or you can just get the above mentioned parts, for right now please just email me for the details (murphatmurphskits.com) We will be offering a "core" exchange if these get as popular as I think they will. Also, in the "shifting" of the forums deal I lost the information on who the first person was to mention these, if they will contact me I'll get the credits up as we metioned via emails..cause right now I can't even find your email  :P

Details?? ..L.. I was hoping to work in a photo shoot and write the instructions today but that didn't happen.

But here ya go.. For all the parts shown in the photo below you have to send murph $20 8), If you want me to send you a shifter all bearinged up and ready to bolt on that will set you back $90. If you choose that option and send me your shifter I'll credit you $50, or if you want to send me your shifter and have me install the parts and ship it back to you, that will be $35...

Hows that?

But a nice easy press, a c-clamp or vise works just fine..

Just went to your web site to order a kit...

http://www.murphskits.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=130

Could not find shift bearing kit ...

How do we order? (Do we just send you an email or paypal?)

They aren't on the site yet for now I'll take a few orders via paypal.

For the order it is
Stainless shim, bearing, bushing, bearing, bushing, bearing and stainless shim.
When you have the shifter off the bike its easy to knock out the plastic bushing. I opened my vice jaws wide enough for the bearing to pass through and knocked it out using a 1/2in bolt and small hammer.
After that I took the first bearing, and using the vise, pushed it in from one side. Remove the shifter with its one new bearing, and using the bolt place the rest of the assembly in the hole from the opposite end. The bearing you have installed will act as a guide for the rest.  Place a socket on the side that has the new bearingso the bolt can pass through, push on the bolt head with the vise, and when you feel it get "snug" your there..

Hows that?
I've got a list of  "have too" projects today but hope I make it to havingthis listed at the site tonight..till then paypal will work. I have the parts to sent out three shifters complete and about 13 more bearing kits..

Let me know
