Ok in this same line of questions, and yes I think I know the answer but love the warm fuzzy fealing I get from the forum and bike guru's, if a part number stays the say over multiple years des that mean any year with that part number should fit any other year?  What I'm looking at, I have a 90 Connie, and a 99 frame with rims, no front calipers or rotors, or axel for that matter but the forks, and wheel are there.  I'm looking at slowly upgrading the front to the post 94 parts (well slowly aquiring them and then putting them on at one time :) )  and wanted to know if I was already halfway there or if I need to switch the whole triple tree over.  Thanks guys.
...and a good time was had by all.
