New Connie owner in Ontario
« on: August 16, 2014, 09:14:20 AM »
I stumbled across a '94 Concours sitting in a field with a for-sale sign on it and bought her home for next to nothing.

The previous rider was getting arthritis and hadn't ridden it in over a year.  After cleaning the cobwebs and mud off her I'm in the process of getting the mechanics in order for a safety.  As near as I can tell, all she needs is a new speedo cable.

Looking forward to talking Concours on here.

Tim

Got all the gauges working again!  Mechanically she appears to be very solid.  Starts at the touch of the button, idles steadily, pulls smoothly.  The guy who had it before me wasn't well enough to ride, but he was a wiz with the mechanicals.  Other than a speedo gear housing it was a matter of cleaning it up and tightening a couple of loose electrical connections.

Now that everything it working well and cleaned up I'm putting it all back together again and seeing how the safety goes...
