The other tupperware
« on: December 16, 2011, 09:50:19 PM »
The C-10 is nice overall, but Honda had some refinements.  Getting a late start into the tupperware BMW war back in the 90s, technology gave it some advantages.   Anyway, I picked up a project,  93k miles.  Best way to really check it is to take off all the plastic.  Then send out the plastic to be painted something shiny.   Black is a good color.   Before and after pics.  I found the painter off Craigslist, added video and pics below!

You'd think it was a 20k mile bike.  it runs absolutely flawless.  New belt, carb sync, alternator 40a, plugs, tank sealed, brake pads, clutch, fork seals, rear shock/spring, filters, and what the seller called an oil pump chain?   Someone invested $1200 into it, I added to that a steering bearing, paint, and foam grip puppiies.
