Question on '10 onwards fuel tank cover
« on: March 26, 2012, 05:03:43 PM »

On the old models the storage compartment was on the tank, and on '10 model this has been replaced by a fuel tank cover. Does anyone know

  • How easy it is to remove the cover (looks like a few hex bolts)
  • Would a fuzeblock fit underneath?
Cheers

3 bolts.  Easy Peasy.

You may be able to squeeze a Fuzeblock under there but I doubt it.  There is barely room for the Power Commander V and I believe that is shorter than the Fuzeblock.

Super easy to remove.

Very little room under there.  You might want to just remove the sucker and check it out yourself.  Personally, I don't think there will be room.
